Agnes N.
Front Desk Manager

Agnes, our friendly outgoing Front Desk Manager, has a vast knowledge of dental insurance, and is always happy to answer any questions regarding insurance, billing or financial arrangements. She enjoys solving problems and seeks to make people feel at home.

Agnes grew up in Poland, graduating from the Polish University of English Philology, with a Bachelor’s Degree in teaching English as a Second Language. She is an accomplished teacher in Special Education, Language Pathology and ESL Education. She moved to the United States 10 years ago and has been working in the dental field ever since.

Agnes loves spending time with her husband and daughter. They enjoy traveling as a family to see America. On weekends, Agnes works as a teacher in the Polish Language School in New Britain. She is also a certified legal Polish Interpreter for the State of Connecticut.

Melanie A.
Dental Assistant

Melanie became a Dental Assistant in 1997. Since 2001 Melanie has been working in the Simsbury area. Because of her love of dentistry she has developed expertise in assisting in all areas of dentistry. Whether simple filling or complex surgery, Melanie performs her dental assisting duties expertly. Her calm manner and way of explaining procedures puts patients at ease. She treats all of her patients with dignity, respect and a gentle hand.

She is Certified in Digital Radiography, CPR, and maintains infection control procedures in the office. She is also a member of DIRT (disaster identification relief team).

In her free time she enjoys home improvement projects and working in her gardens.

Cherell Crooms
Hygienist

Cherell is an excellent hygienist with gentle and thorough skills. She has a very pleasant personality and is well-liked by patients.

Cherell started out as a dental assistant while studying to become a dental hygienist. She is now a trustee for the Northeast district of the American Dental Hygiene Association. Her responsibilities there include oversight of continuing education for hygienists.

Cherell wants to help patients be comfortable and unafraid during their visits in her operatory. Her aim is to educate patients in the best practices for home oral health care.

Outside of the dental office, Cherell enjoys being with her family including 2 teenagers. She loves arts and crafts of all kinds and rollerblading.

Eileen F.
Business Manager

Eileen works to manage the business affairs of the practice, including marketing. Her goal is to see that patients are welcomed and cared for by our friendly dental team members and dentist.

Eileen graduated from Boston University with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Accounting. In Boston, she worked for Kazmaier Associates and Samson Ocean Systems before marrying Dr. Finn many years ago. After moving to Simsbury, Connecticut, she worked as a corporate accountant in Barclays American Business Credit in East Hartford for several years before making the decision to stay home and raise their two sons.

In her free time she enjoys spending quality time with her family and works in her gardens. Eileen and her husband are also very active in their local church.
